Floor Cleaning Equipment Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical maintenance specialist to join our team at Alpine's Delta Warehouse. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of floor cleaning equipment, including forklifts, ATVs, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Warehouse and Procurement Teams to ensure seamless equipment maintenance and repair
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on floor cleaning equipment, including Walk Behind/Ride On Auto Scrubbers, Propane/Electric Burnishers, Industrial Sweepers, Wet/Dry Vacuums, Carpet Extractors, and Swing Machines
  • Lift equipment weighing over 51lbs on an ongoing basis
  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License and Forklift certification

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating and repairing a wide range of floor cleaning equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate necessary fixes and training to repair equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
