Floor Cleaning Equipment Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Alpine as a Floor Cleaning Equipment Technician. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our floor cleaning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on forklifts, ATV's, and vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of floor cleaning equipment, including walk-behind and ride-on auto scrubbers, propane and electric burnishers, industrial sweepers, and more
  • Work closely with our warehouse and procurement teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and maintenance
  • Lift heavy equipment (over 51lbs) on an ongoing basis
  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and forklift certification (asset)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating and repairing a wide range of floor cleaning equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
