Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic (Floor Cleaning Equipment Specialist) to join our team at Alpine Building Maintenance. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our floor cleaning equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with our Warehouse and Procurement Teams to ensure seamless equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of floor cleaning equipment, including Walk Behind/Ride On Auto Scrubbers, Propane/Electric Burnishers, Industrial Sweepers, Wet/Dry Vacuums, Carpet Extractors, and Swing Machines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf carts and other equipment as needed.
  • Lift heavy equipment (over 51lbs) on an ongoing basis.
  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License and possess a clean driving record.
  • Obtain and maintain Forklift certification (considered an asset).
Requirements
  • Proven experience operating and repairing a wide range of floor cleaning equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and apply training to repair equipment.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Forklift license (considered an asset).
