Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Sell merchandise and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that products are easily accessible to customers.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Client focus and a commitment to providing a welcoming work environment for all customers.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
Work Environment:

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The Retail Store Supervisor will work 30 to 35 hours per week.
