Director of Clinical Operations

About the Role
The Director, Clinical Operations is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of clinical services across multiple programs and services. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical best practices, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve clinical services and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical directors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of clinical services.
- Oversee the management of clinical programs and services, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regional and provincial leaders to ensure alignment with provincial standards and program mandates.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing, healthcare administration, or business administration.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior administrative position within a healthcare organization.
- Strong knowledge of current and future healthcare issues, including Indigenous cultural safety and anti-racism.
- Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate and mediate complex situations.
- Ability to lead people, manage change, and develop strategy.
