Director of Clinical Operations

About the Role:
The Director, Clinical Operations is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of clinical services and programs within the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical governance, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve clinical services and programs
- Collaborate with medical directors and other stakeholders to ensure effective clinical governance
- Oversee the management of clinical programs and services, including budgeting and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Lead and manage a team of clinical professionals to achieve operational excellence
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration or nursing
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior administrative role within a healthcare organization
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team management and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of current and future healthcare issues, with a focus on patient-centered care and quality improvement
