Regional Director, High Net Worth Planning - Central Canada

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Director to lead our High Net Worth Planning team in Central Canada. As a key member of our Private Wealth business, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of wealth and specialized planners to deliver high-quality client experiences and support business growth.
  • Provide wealth planning, advanced financial planning, guidance, and counsel to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.
  • Collaborate with Private Wealth Leaders and Professionals to develop and deliver client-focused wealth planning experiences.
  • Participate in the end-to-end wealth planning process, from discovery to financial planning analysis and recommendations.
  • Create awareness of key products and services to generate increased asset levels from HNW/UHNW investors.
  • Support the growth and retention of client assets by providing wealth planning advice and guidance to Private Wealth Professionals.
  • Manage people and lead a team capable of delivering desired business results.
  • Provide a strong level of understanding of financial services and wealth planning to implement business development strategies.
  • Contribute to overall business results by making recommendations to improve the client experience and drive incremental growth in assets and revenue.
  • Prove oversight or address escalation issues to ensure retention of business and provide strategic thinking to resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
  • Experience in leading a team and interacting with HNW/UHNW client segments.
  • Detailed knowledge of financial planning principles and standards.
  • Working knowledge of Voyant/WealthPath and CCH financial planning software and tools.
  • Financial services sales experience an asset.
  • MBA/advanced graduate degree is an asset.
