Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at TransGlobe Equities Ltd. as a key member of our facilities management team.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our apartment/condominium complex, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs.
- Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, power tools, and other equipment to remove debris, dirt, and other refuse.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that the facilities are kept clean and free of hazards.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require physical stamina, including moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced urban environment, with minimal supervision. The role requires excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
