About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Cook to join our team at Dai Jang Kum Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for kitchen staff, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
