Community Engagement Manager

About UsCanpotex Limited is a leading supplier of potash, headquartered in Saskatoon, with a strong international presence. Our mission is to deliver high-quality fertilizer nutrients to farmers worldwide, contributing to global food security.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, propose, and execute comprehensive communication plans tailored for both internal and external stakeholders, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
- Oversee Canpotex's community investment initiatives, fostering and managing partnerships with local organizations.
- Create and maintain corporate communication tools, including key messaging documents, presentations, websites, and social media platforms.
- Generate and refine communication materials such as press releases, briefing notes, and social media content.
- Ensure all communication efforts are consistent with the corporate branding strategy and enhance the company's positioning among key audiences.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and explore options for improvement.
Applicants should possess a degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, with a professional communications designation being advantageous. A minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in communications or public relations is required.
Experience in developing and implementing organization-wide communication strategies and managing multiple projects is essential. Familiarity with international organizations or publicly traded companies is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, a robust work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail are crucial. The ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with diverse audiences, including executives, shareholders, and community organizations, is vital.
Basic graphic design knowledge to support projects such as social media content and presentations is preferred.
