We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Sixteen Nine Enterprises Inc.
Job Summary:The Area Manager will be responsible for managing a team of staff and overseeing the daily operations of our retail stores. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure a high-performing team.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- 5 years or more of experience in retail management or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Proficiency in accounting software, word processing software, database software, and inventory control software.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Adaptability, analytical, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive work culture.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Schedule:32 to 40 hours per week.
