Position Overview

The Clinical Services Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery of outpatient mental health and addiction services. Working closely with the Clinical Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations and providing leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities

The Team Leader will:

  • Support the Outpatient Mental Health & Addictions team through administrative and organizational leadership.
  • Deliver direct clinical services in their area of expertise, such as Clinical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist.
  • Ensure that all clinical staff implement evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Identify opportunities for service enhancement and lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and orientation materials.
  • Guide the team in client-centered decision-making, customer service, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications

We invite candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Counseling (with a Clinical Undergraduate Degree), or Occupational Therapy.
  • Current licensure with the relevant professional body.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Mental Health & Addictions intervention.
  • Proficiency in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Competency in additional languages is an asset, with French being preferred.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 75 hours bi-weekly, offered as a long-term assignment.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $44.37 to $51.73. Successful candidates may qualify for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance, along with a defined benefit pension plan for permanent long assignments.
