About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Outpatient Mental Health and Addictions team. The successful candidate will provide administrative, organizational, and leadership support to the team, as well as provide direct clinical client service in their professional role.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Counselling, or Occupational Therapy, and who is licensed with the applicable body. The ideal candidate will have three years' experience with Mental Health and Addictions intervention, and will be able to provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to clients. The candidate should also be able to ensure that all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities, and identify areas for service improvement and facilitate and evaluate quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative, organizational, and leadership support to the Outpatient Mental Health and Addictions team
  • Provide direct clinical client service in their professional role
  • Ensure all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Identify areas for service improvement and facilitate and evaluate quality initiatives
  • Draft Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials, and other guidelines for care
  • Provide leadership to the team in the areas of client-centered decision making, customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution
