Role Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to BBBSWB, ensuring the organization effectively meets its mission and objectives. This role is pivotal in enhancing the impact of our programs and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Articulate and implement the strategic vision and mission of BBBSWB.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and stakeholders to identify strategic priorities.
  • Oversee the development and execution of operational plans and budgets.
  • Manage organizational risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Financial Oversight:

  • Ensure sound fiscal management and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Lead fundraising initiatives and cultivate donor relationships.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Team Leadership:

  • Guide staff in achieving strategic goals and maintaining program excellence.
  • Foster a culture of respect, equity, and collaboration.
  • Support staff development and performance management.

Community Engagement:

  • Act as the primary representative of BBBSWB in the community.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Promote the organization’s mission and impact through effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role within the non-profit sector.
  • Postsecondary education in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and fundraising.
  • Strong financial management skills and experience working with a Board of Directors.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.

This position requires a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends. A Criminal Record Check is a prerequisite for employment.
