  • Liaison Duties: Serve as the main communication link between the Service Manager and the field team.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to the field team, addressing operational inquiries and challenges.
  • Training Initiatives: Deliver formal training and on-the-job support to team members.
  • Safety Protocols: Conduct safety assessments and toolbox talks to promote a secure working environment.
  • Performance Oversight: Manage team performance and participate in annual evaluations and discussions for all team members.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new field service technicians as the business grows.
  • Health & Safety Responsibility: Ensure personal and team health and safety in all activities.

Qualifications:

  • Leadership Background: Proven experience in leading a team in a similar field service management position.
  • Field Expertise: Hands-on experience in delivering complex service or maintenance work.
  • Customer Engagement: Experience in direct customer interaction and relationship management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and wiring schematics, troubleshoot electronic systems, and replace components as necessary.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities and relationship-building skills with customers.
  • Driving Competence: Possession of a full, clean driving license, with the ability to drive for extended periods.
  • Safety Awareness: Previous experience with safety procedures and training is advantageous.
  • Professional Conduct: A history of reliability, independence, and pride in work.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Certifications in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering are preferred.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the region.
