Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Assistant to provide administrative support to our Home and Community Care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our patients and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Home and Community Care team, including data entry, filing, and record maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Manage client records, including updating information, processing documents, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and coordinating home visits.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, processing requisitions, and maintaining inventory.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve goals, resolve issues, and improve processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in office administration or a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 18 months of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the healthcare or social services sector.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including email and the internet.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule, including evenings and weekends.
