Job Opportunity: Educational Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to join our team at Catholic Independent Schools of Vancouver Archdiocese. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with diverse needs in a faith-based and culturally diverse school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with various needs in a school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Use a variety of tools and programs to help students access the curriculum
  • Stay current with educational trends and best practices
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure student success

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with diverse needs
  • Completion of an accredited Educational Assistant certification program with a practicum component
  • Familiarity with a range of tools and programs to support students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
