Job Title: Elementary School Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Satnam Education Society of British Columbia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and learning, and will be able to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Learning: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of our students.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of teaching experience.
  • Certifications: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
