We are seeking a Bilingual Collections Representative to enhance our team. This position is pivotal in ensuring the recovery of debts while minimizing losses associated with collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct collection calls and manage correspondence for accounts overdue by more than five days, facilitating arrangements to rectify delinquent accounts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service concerning collection inquiries, manage account adjustments, and resolve discrepancies.
- Process vendor invoices accurately, ensuring all information is correct before forwarding to accounts payable for payment processing.
- Work diligently to reduce delinquency rates in assigned regions, maintaining effective communication with customers and internal teams.
- Identify accounts needing further investigation or skip tracing, ensuring timely contact is made.
- Handle incoming inquiries from customers and dealers professionally.
- Adhere to training and quality standards to ensure effective collection practices and high-quality customer service.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the Collections department.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in both English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A university degree is preferred.
- Experience in Collections or Accounts Receivables is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to new software systems.
- Strong multitasking abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential.
