Bilingual Credit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for establishing and managing accounts receivable and credit functions.
- Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
- Conduct thorough credit checks and reviews to ensure accurate credit limits and terms.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and customers to resolve past due accounts and maintain positive relationships.
- Provide regular updates and insights to management on credit ratings, trends, and other relevant information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer credit history.
- Prepare and analyze monthly accounts receivable aging reports to inform business decisions.
- Manage cash application processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Supervise and mentor the Canadian Accounts Receivable team to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to policies.
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounts receivable management, with a strong background in credit analysis and risk management.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP or other accounting software is a strong asset.
