About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Nautical Consulting Group Ltd. as a Content Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in writing and editing technical content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex information and create clear, concise documentation to explain the installation, operation, and maintenance of software and electronic, mechanical, and other equipment.
  • Develop and maintain technical manuals, user guides, and other documentation to support our clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the needs of our clients.
  • Conduct research to establish factual content and obtain other necessary information to support documentation.
  • Edit and proofread technical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of junior writers and editors to ensure that documentation is completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as English, Communications, or Technical Writing.
  • 2-3 years of experience in technical writing, editing, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and create clear, concise documentation.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Language and Work Conditions

The primary language of work is English. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week in a standard office environment.
