Logistics Operations Manager

BEST CHOICE TRUCKING LTD is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations, including metrics on productivity and product quality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and conduct performance reviews for staff, and establish work schedules and procedures.
- Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including arranging for maintenance and repair work.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 44 hours per week.
- Mentorship Programs: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
