Restaurant Manager Job Description

GOURMET CARLETON PLACE INC is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing staff, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and optimize our restaurant's budget to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menu plans to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and manage stock to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
