Restaurant Manager Job Description

GOURMET CARLETON PLACE INC is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, including cost control and financial reporting.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of over 20 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and ensure efficient operations.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive dining experience for customers, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing initiatives and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
