Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Wendys. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including inventory management and scheduling.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure that our restaurant meets health and safety regulations and that our staff are trained in sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers have a positive experience in our restaurant.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including sales reports and inventory reports.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a standing position.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a standing position for extended periods. You will be required to work under pressure and make decisions quickly to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
