Transportation Services Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Services Operations Supervisor to join our team at Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of 16-20 staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure they meet their job expectations.
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our transportation services, including scheduling, routing, and monitoring of vehicles and drivers.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
- Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the transportation industry.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
