About the Role

Evolving Web is seeking a seasoned Senior UX Designer to elevate our team's capabilities in delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Discovery and Design: Take charge of the discovery and design phases of key projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Prepare and lead workshops to gather input and align diverse perspectives, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Conduct UX Research: Conduct in-depth UX research and synthesize findings to inform design decisions.
  • Design and Prototype: Develop top-notch wireframes and prototypes in Figma, ensuring a user-centered approach.
  • Test and Refine: Perform usability testing and refine designs based on user feedback, ensuring a high level of quality.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work with our multidisciplinary team to keep projects moving forward, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Delegate and Mentor: Provide input and feedback to other designers on your projects, promoting growth and development.
  • Represent Evolving Web: Represent the company as a subject matter expert to existing and potential clients, delivering pitches and presentations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in UX design, ideally within a digital agency.
  • Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple projects with ease, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Client Savvy: Strong client-facing and presentation skills, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Research Expertise: Expertise in UX research for institutional clients or projects with similar complexity.
  • Figma Mastery: Advanced skills in Figma are required, with the ability to create high-quality wireframes and prototypes.
  • Usability Expertise: Experience in usability testing and design optimization, ensuring a user-centered approach.
  • Bilingual Bonus: Proficiency in English and French is a plus, but not required.
Additional Qualities
  • Public Speaking: Comfortable representing the company at conferences and events, promoting the company's expertise and services.
  • Sales Support: Experience contributing to writing proposals and delivering pitches, helping to secure new business opportunities.
  • Information Architect: Experience in creating sitemaps and information architecture, ensuring a clear and intuitive user experience.
