Position Overview

Etro Construction Limited is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in estimating costs related to construction projects, ensuring accurate financial planning and project feasibility.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Compile detailed estimates of labor and material expenses.
  • Prepare pre-qualification submissions for client presentations.
  • Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ascertain project requirements.
  • Utilize CADD and other software systems for precise calculations.
  • Generate estimates for general expenses and overhead costs.
  • Conduct economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for upcoming projects.
  • Create and submit comprehensive estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms.
  • Implement quantity take-off procedures for accurate material assessments.
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures as necessary.
  • Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors for project needs.
Personal Attributes
  • Exceptional oral communication skills are essential.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience is required.
