Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Policy Pharmacist to join our team as an Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operations of the pharmacy, including providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers
  • Dispense medication and assist in the maintenance of the dispensary
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory requirements
  • Control access to the dispensary and ensure patient confidentiality
  • Review stock to identify expired inventory and ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met
  • Plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments and provide coaching to pharmacy colleagues
  • Complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops, as needed
