Job Title: Security Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees, while also protecting the company from theft and/or fraud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor gaming operations and ensure compliance with provincial gaming regulations and applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
- Control access to the facility and sensitive areas, and maintain a presence on the gaming floor to respond to guest inquiries.
- Write reports, maintain a daily log, and conduct investigations as required.
- Provide First Aid and medical attention as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a security role.
- Proven high level of customer service.
- Detail-orientated and organized nature.
- Solid analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain registration as a Gaming Security Officer through JIBC.
