Job Summary

We are seeking a Permanent Part Time Dental Assistant at Williams Lake Health Unit in Williams Lake, BC. The successful candidate will provide support to our dental team in delivering prevention education to children 0 to 6 years of age and their caregivers in various community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with dental screening programs and the development and delivery of dental education programs and health promotion activities.
  • Prepare dental supplies and equipment, and complete data entry for screening programs and services.
  • Function with a great degree of independence with an understanding of policies and procedures involved with preventive dental programs.
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Certified Dental Assistant Certificate
  • Registration and licensure as a Certified Dental Assistant in B.C.
  • One year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Current valid BC Driver's License
