Platt College Los Angeles, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Academic Dean to lead our academic programs and services. As a key member of our leadership team, the Academic Dean will be responsible for the overall operation of their respective units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement academic programs and services that meet the needs of students and employers in Southern California.
- Train and manage faculty and staff to ensure excellent teaching and learning experiences.
- Monitor and maintain curricula to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Oversee and monitor student performance to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of educational services.
- 3-5 years of direct experience as a manager or lead in an academic setting.
- Current and relevant experience in curriculum development, educational effectiveness assessment, faculty development, and faculty performance appraisals.
- Advanced degree (Master's degree minimum requirement).
- Strong administrative, management, and leadership skills.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
