Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at BMO. In this role, you will provide exceptional client service and support to our Investment Advisors and branch operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate marketing activities, including website and social media initiatives, to promote our advisory team and services.
  • Assist with client meetings, including scheduling appointments and preparing materials.
  • Handle client inquiries and requests, including basic money movement and account opening.
  • Generate reports and documents as requested and process client transactions.
  • Maintain and organize client databases and files.
  • Ensure transactions and tasks are assigned to team members and completed.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members.
  • Gather and distribute information on updates to training, guidelines, and technology.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to promote a positive experience.
  • Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard client assets and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of wealth management company operations and products.
  • Familiarity with technology applications and software used in the financial industry.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook exam within 18 months.
  • Basic specialized knowledge and good verbal and written communication skills.

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $32,700 to $48,600, plus a monthly discretionary bonus. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings plans.
