About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at JHL Contractors Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies that support the growth of our business and the development of our clients.
  • Program Administration: Administer programs that promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform a range of administrative tasks, including data analysis, report writing, and research.
  • Staff Recruitment and Management: Recruit and manage a team of staff, ensuring that they have the skills and expertise needed to support our business development goals.
  • Client Enquiries: Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Market Research: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Report Writing: Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, and articles that showcase our expertise and provide valuable insights to our clients.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies that support the growth of our business and the development of our clients.
  • Commercial Development: Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals, ensuring that they align with our business goals and objectives.
  • Market Research Questionnaires: Design and implement market research questionnaires that provide valuable insights into the needs and preferences of our clients.
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans that support the growth of our business and the development of our clients.
  • Work Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
  • Language: Work in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Hours: Work 35 hours per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
