About the Role

Maccane Development Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including allocating resources, establishing financial and administrative controls, and formulating policies and programs.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage senior staff positions, including establishing objectives and formulating policies and programs.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Human Resources: Develop and implement human resources planning, including recruiting and hiring staff, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Communication and Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, and delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
