EA is seeking a skilled Kubernetes DevOps Engineer to join our team
As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining the robust tooling platform that powers our live services for EA games. You'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters across both production and development environments, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and sustaining a multi-tenant platform tailored to the unique needs of our live services.
- Architecting, implementing, and overseeing Kubernetes clusters in diverse environments.
- Automating application deployment processes through robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications for peak efficiency.
- Collaborating closely with development teams to guide the containerization of applications and microservices.
- Leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to manage our infrastructure effectively.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes and container orchestration, ensuring smooth operation.
- Staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Kubernetes and DevOps to maintain a cutting-edge approach.
We are looking for individuals with:
- 6+ years of experience working with public cloud services.
- Proven expertise as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on Kubernetes.
- In-depth understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Hands-on experience managing and orchestrating Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go.
- Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and their Kubernetes offerings.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform.
- Demonstrated expertise in network security fundamentals for services hosted on Kubernetes.
- Understanding and experience implementing network resources within public cloud environments.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience migrating existing services to Kubernetes.
- Experience with Continuous Deployment technologies.
- Experience managing database and cache clusters.
