Your Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing flexible CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines developed in Groovy. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment of microservices to Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines developed in Groovy
- Ensure pipeline support for multiple languages, frameworks, and build systems
- Leverage containerization tools, including Docker, Podman, and Mirantis
- Implement testing and deployment stages to ensure quality and fast feedback
- Deploy microservices to Kubernetes using Helm and deployment models like canary, rolling, and blue/green
- Automate Jenkins infrastructure to provide a stable, scalable, and secure CI/CD platform
- Troubleshoot issues with development teams to resolve them quickly
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve the overall software development lifecycle and pipeline implementations
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a CI/CD DevOps or a similar role
- Proficiency in Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines developed in Groovy running on a Linux foundation
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience deploying microservices to production
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, Node,.NET core, pip
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Compensation
Global Relay offers a competitive compensation package, including a corporate bonus, extended health benefits, and RRSP matching. The base salary range for this role is $65,000-$130,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
