Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production and development environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure Kubernetes clusters for EA games
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and testing
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and microservices
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Kubernetes and DevOps
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience with public cloud services, especially AWS and GCP
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster management and orchestration
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and their Kubernetes services
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience migrating existing services from Cloud Compute to Kubernetes
  • Experience with Continuous Deployment technologies like ArgoCD
  • Experience managing DB and Cache clusters
