Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Counter Attendant to join our team at 8541191 Canada Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including dishes, flatware, and serving areas.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, as well as portion and wrap foods for service.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Equipment Operation: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, as well as operate equipment such as conventional ovens and deep fryers.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 37 to 44 hours per week.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
