Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nicola Foods Ltd.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training new employees, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Establish work schedules
- Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work independently.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
