About the Role
As a Registered Nurse within our dedicated HIV/AIDS care team, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and comprehensive patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes and support individuals living with HIV/AIDS throughout their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration (excluding intravenous), wound care, and patient assessments. Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on HIV/AIDS management, treatment options, and available resources. Facilitate open communication and empower individuals to actively participate in their healthcare decisions.
- Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and promptly address any concerns. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities.
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters patient well-being and promotes adherence to treatment regimens. Advocate for patients' needs and ensure their voices are heard within the healthcare team.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings, contributing your clinical expertise and insights to develop individualized care plans that meet patients' unique needs and goals.
- Stay abreast of current best practices and advancements in HIV/AIDS care through ongoing professional development activities, research, and collaboration with colleagues.
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Proven experience in providing direct patient care, preferably within an HIV/AIDS setting. Strong clinical skills, communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
