Industrial Sales Territory Manager

Position Overview: The Industrial Territory Manager will report directly to the Sales Director and will be responsible for promoting Merlo products within the industrial sector across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling, building a robust client portfolio (70%–80% of the role);
- Manage the territory effectively by nurturing strong relationships with clients through regular site visits;
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve and surpass sales targets;
- Prepare and present compelling business cases to key decision-makers, showcasing potential savings and benefits;
- Assess customer needs and respond effectively while staying informed about market trends and competitor pricing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in field sales or outside sales;
- Proven track record of increasing market share;
- Results-oriented with a history of exceeding sales targets in lengthy sales cycles;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities;
- Effective planning and time management skills;
- Familiarity with CRM systems;
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
