Position Overview: The Industrial Territory Manager will report directly to the Sales Director and will be responsible for promoting Merlo products within the industrial sector across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling, building a robust client portfolio (70%–80% of the role);
  • Manage the territory effectively by nurturing strong relationships with clients through regular site visits;
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve and surpass sales targets;
  • Prepare and present compelling business cases to key decision-makers, showcasing potential savings and benefits;
  • Assess customer needs and respond effectively while staying informed about market trends and competitor pricing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in field sales or outside sales;
  • Proven track record of increasing market share;
  • Results-oriented with a history of exceeding sales targets in lengthy sales cycles;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities;
  • Effective planning and time management skills;
  • Familiarity with CRM systems;
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
