At Northern Property REIT, we are committed to enhancing the communities we serve through our dedicated team. As a leading property management company, we oversee a diverse portfolio that includes multi-residential units and commercial spaces across various regions.

We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to support our Corporate - Operations division. Reporting directly to the Director of Customer Service, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth functioning of our property management offices while ensuring top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor operational activities by tracking progress, analyzing reports, and addressing challenges.
  • Manage the National Renewals program effectively.
  • Evaluate and refine processes to identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements for improved effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and document standardized policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Implement and communicate company policies and procedures related to operational functions.
  • Maintain essential operational documents, including core processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and templates.
  • Organize and manage the Operations document file structure and SharePoint site.
  • Provide support and training to internal and external personnel across Canada regarding operational policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate effective communication with both internal and external team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure clarity in operational guides to maintain consistency, compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinate meetings, committees, and working groups as needed.
  • Participate in Operations meetings, health and safety discussions, and other relevant gatherings.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and effective multitasking skills.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience within a property management organization is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Yardi and SharePoint is beneficial.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite at an intermediate level.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English for all forms of communication.
