About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Verdi Structures Inc. as a key member of our estimating department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Cost Management
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
    • Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements and specifications
    • Develop and maintain accurate cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Project Coordination
    • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and project timelines
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve any cost-related issues
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in estimating software packages and AutoCAD
    • Strong understanding of quantity take-off procedures and cost estimation methodologies
  • Education and Experience
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week, permanent position
    • English language required
