Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team at Everworks Technical Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and fostering relationships with customers in need of automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automation industry.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their automation needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors to provide valuable insights to the team.
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients to articulate the benefits of our automation services.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field in the automation industry.
  • Proven track record of success in generating new business leads and driving sales growth.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet goals.
  • Experience with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of business operations and labor laws in Ontario and/or Michigan is an asset.
  • Valid standard vehicle license and ability to travel frequently.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel within North America.
