Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The BDR will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and fostering relationships with customers in need of Automation/Controls/Robot Programmers, and site commissioning support. This role requires a proactive approach to lead generation, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong understanding of automation.

Responsibilities:

· Prospect and identify potential clients who require Automation/Controls/Robot programmers and site commissioning support.

· Conduct outbound calls, emails, and networking to generate new business leads.

· Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team to further assess client needs.

· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies.

· Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.

· Educate prospects on the technical services offered by Everworks Technical Services and articulate their benefits.

· Prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients.

· Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Requirements:

· 5-7 years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role in automation or related industries.

· Sales and relationship building experience

· Strong technical aptitude and understanding of Automation (PLC/HMI/SCADA) programming, and site commissioning.

· Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet goals.

· Self-motivated with a proactive and energetic approach to sales.

· Experience using CRM and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

· Knowledge with business operations and labour laws in Ontario and/or Michigan is considered an asset.

· Must have a valid standard vehicle license

· Frequent travel is required

· Must have valid passport and be able to travel within North America

· Ideal candidate will live within Southern Ontario, or the Mid-Western areas of the United States

· Must have extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
