We are currently seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our team. This full-time position will be based in one of our branches, where the successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating project costs for the sales team by gathering competitive quotes from reliable vendors.
  • Analyze tender documents, providing detailed feedback and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Support the development and coordination of project schedules and plans, tracking progress and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including preparing meeting agendas and distributing status updates.
  • Assist in resource management, identifying potential constraints and ensuring efficient task allocation.
  • Monitor project budgets, reviewing expenditures against forecasts and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring accessibility for all team members.
  • Participate in project closeout activities, capturing lessons learned and securing necessary approvals.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to monitor project compliance and address any issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on modular construction preferred.
  • Educational background in Construction Management or related fields is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles and project management fundamentals.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
