Position Title: Agricultural Grants Internship

McCain Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Agricultural Grants Intern to join our team in Florenceville, NB. As a key member of our Agriculture and Sustainability team, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our regenerative agriculture projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in building a pipeline of local, state, and federal grant opportunities to support sustainable practices for potato growers.
  • Collaborate with growers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to streamline the grant application process.
  • Monitor progress and assist in outcome reporting to track the success of funded projects.
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a degree program in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Agronomy, Ag Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize data trends and patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-reliant and resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
