Batter Mixer

We are seeking a skilled Batter Mixer to join our team at McCain Foods in Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick, Canada.

About the Role:

• As a Batter Mixer, you will be responsible for operating equipment associated with batter mixing and depositing.
• You will interpret mixing formulas, weigh, mix, and blend ingredients to the recipe.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Critical Control Points (CCPs).
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality products.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to Kaizens, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform standard tests to ensure consistent quality.
• Document ingredient codes, temperatures, and finished product tracking.
• Assist with sanitation duties, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• Relay information to team members as an area lead.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent attendance and ability to work well with plant supervision and production employees.
• Successful completion of a 90-day training period.
• Ability to learn autonomous maintenance activities, inspection, and lubrication.
• Demonstrate continued improvement initiatives and involvement.
