Event Marketing Coordinator

Position Overview: The Event Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting Kia Canada Inc.'s experiential marketing initiatives, partnerships, and event management. This position is integral to the planning and execution of high-quality experiential marketing programs and events.
- Logistical Support: Assist the Experiential Marketing team in managing logistics to create unforgettable experiences at events. This includes overseeing communications, merchandise supply, signage, collateral development, and vehicle management.
- Campaign Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to ensure seamless execution of campaign milestones from inception to completion, including planning, briefings, proposals, execution, and post-project evaluations.
- Efficiency Analysis: Conduct departmental analyses to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure that all partnerships are strategically aligned with Kia's brand identity.
- Event Management: Support the strategic direction, management, and coordination of events and on-site activations with key partners, including agencies, vendors, data providers, and internal departments. Clearly define roles and responsibilities to ensure all programs adhere to strategic objectives.
- Budget Tracking: Responsible for monitoring program budgets and scope of work, ensuring maximum return on investment and that overall expenditures align with agreed budgets.
- Vehicle Logistics: Assist in the vehicle management process, including logistics, preparation, and documentation for all events.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel Requirements: This role will necessitate travel.
- Qualifications: A post-graduate degree or diploma in marketing or business administration is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in experiential marketing, event management, agency, or a similar role is essential. Experience in sports partnerships and/or auto shows is advantageous.
- Skills: Proficiency in the MS Office suite is required. Candidates must demonstrate effective attention to detail, strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, budgeting, and execution capabilities.
- Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain enduring relationships with other departments and demonstrate effective teamwork.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds or more.
